Geranium - Essential Oil

Essential geranium oil is made from the leaves and flowers of the plant, using steam distillation. It is wonderful for congested, dry, or oily skin—an oil for all skin types. Geranium oil also helps to balance the female hormones and helps one regain inner balance.

Blending suggestions:

Geranium essential oil blends well with basil, bergamot, citronella, clementine, clove, grapefruit, lavender, lemongrass, lime, sweet orange, rosemary, and sandalwood.

Basic Geranium blend:

10 teaspoons (about 50 ml) carrier oil, 8 drops geranium, 2 drops lemongrass

Uplifting Geranium blend:

8 teaspoons of carrier oil (about 40 ml), 4 drops geranium, 3 drops bergamot, 1 drop sweet orange

Caution:

There is a risk for toxic reaction if dosage is too high.
