Petitgrain Natural Essential Oil

Obtained through steam distillation of the twigs, leaves and unripe fruit of different citrus trees, petitgrain essential oil has a fresh, slightly bitter, citrus aroma. Our petitgrain is a mix of various citrus trees: bitter orange, sweet orange, lemon and tangerine.

Petitgrain essential oil has effects similar to those of neroli oil but with a less flowery fragrance and at a much lower cost. It has powerful emotional effects—it relaxes, balances and creates inner peace. It also has mental benefits; it is known to promote intuition and quick thinking. Health benefits include relieving pain from migraines, alleviating depression, and treating oily skin.

Blending suggestions:

Petitgrain essential oil blends particularly well with bergamot, clementine, lavender, geranium, sweet orange, veviter, ylang ylang

10 teaspoons of carrier oil, cream or lotion (about 50 ml), 6 drops petitgrain, 2 drops bergamot, 2 drop sweet orange, sandalwood, 2 drops ylang ylang
