Shea Butter, tenderly extracted from the nuts of the Shea trees in West Africa, has been used as a skin and hair treatment for centuries. Owing to its healing properties, it is becoming increasingly popular in massage. Particularly high in unsaponifiables including essential fatty acids Vitamin A, E and F, Shea butter is useful for moisturising and rejuvenating the skin to prevent premature aging, and for curing damaged skin. Staying solid at room temperature, it softly turns fluid at 28°C or higher, or when applied to the skin.
